![]() ![]() ![]() I am wondering though if the MannMade or ABM will feel or sound much better than the TonePros AVT2G-N and be worth twice the cost. In any case I am already shopping for another adjustable wraparound bridge for this new guitar and am tempted to just get another TonePros AVT2G because I know it is good but the curiosity in me is wondering if I should go for something a little "better" (AKA twice the cost if not more) like the MannMade intonatable Stoptail bridge which is a good $100 more than the TonePros, or the ABM 2034 at $200. I have another warmoth body on the way that will also have wraparound studs installed and I am prepared for the Faber not to work again because Warmoth is a bit stuck in their ways with some things (will not recognize 24" scale length on their 7/8 bodies and they insist on 24.75 - and not offset studs). The Faber TPWC had more immediate attack, bite, fullness and sustain compared to the adjustable TonePros AVT2G-N. Our new AVT2 is currently the only locking, Piezo loadable, standard saddle, fully intonatable wraparound bridge in the world. This set includes TonePros Heighten & Tighten adjustment tool for our patented Locking Studs. There is a little bit of a difference in the feel and sound but I needed the intonation to be right. The AVT2M wraparound bridge assembly is matched with a wide cap set of MSPRS Locking Studs. The TonePros AVT2G-N intonation is perfect because it is adjustable. There are a variety of wraparound bridge designs. This style bridge combines the bridge and stopbar into one unit. It had a solid Faber TPWC compensated 3057 at first but because the studs were not offset properly on the stud install, the faber would not intonate (no fault of the faber). Wraparound style bridges are used on less costly models such as the Gibson Melody Maker and on expensive, high-end guitars like PRS Guitars. I recently put a TonePros AVT2G-N adjustable wraparound bridge on one of my guitars and I do like it so far. ![]()
